Almost all teams with postseason pursuits have a veteran or two on one-year offers, hoping to find a good shape while retaining flexibility for the future.
The Lakers have five of them – four newcomers, plus the remaining Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. How will they fit around LeBron James this season?
Rondo restored its place in the league in 2018 afterwards and reminded everyone that “Playoff Rondo” was still one thing with an average of 12.2 APG as the pelicans reached the second round. Rondo and James have developed a fast band as the group’s vocal leader. James publicly pined to play with smart teammates like Rondo when he named him at a press conference during the NBA Finals.
Is Giannis ready to become MVP? Will the Lakers make the playoff? What is Jimmy Butler’s fallout? There are many questions to answer this season.
Here we go – 37 wild predictions for next year in the NBA.
“I studied all of its playoff performance,” Rondo told ESPN. “It’s funny [to hear him] says that to see him play, I was home at the time and I just thought,” How can I do my job a lot easier? Lance Stephenson
After all these playoffs between James & Heat and Cavs compared to Stephenson’s Indiana Pacers team, it calls the four-time MVP Lance a “dog” in the most affectionate way. And simply, James is happy that the dog is now on his side and barking up another tree. “
” When I’m in that court, I just feel like someone is trying to take something from me, “Stephenson told ESPN.” And when I’m out there, I’m just looking at everyone on the opposite team like: “You’re coming not to take this from me. You do not want it as much as I do. “… That attitude is contagious and I think it will spread throughout the team. “
Lakers experimented with Stephenson who plays back-up shift during the training session with Lonzo Ball, which came from knee surgery. However, his ultimate role will be like a spark plug from the bench. – DM
Beasley is the only player on the Lakers roster who has collaborated with James before, during James’s last season in Miami. In the short stint of teammates, James developed an appreciation for Beasley’s advanced offensive skills – so many sources told ESPN, that last season in Cleveland, James Camp had an interest in Cavs in some way to acquire Beasley from New York at the trade.
LA will look to Beasley to point out, but his true value can come if he can play capable minutes of 5 to help with Laker’s thin forward rotation. They tried it in the camp. – DM
JaVale McGee [1 9459005]
Given a thin front basket, McGee – once loosed up to 280 pounds as its preferred weight – is around 240 this year thanks to a vegan diet, which he says has allowed him to stay in the league for so long . After the average of less than 10 MPG with Warriors, he says he welcomes an extended role with the Lakers, but it depends on how often coach Luke Walton relies on his petty setups.
Still, McGee showed enough promise in training camps to clarify that he will be an integral part of the team throughout the season.
Lakers are banking – exactly $ 12 million a year – Caldwell Pope will shoot even better than last season, when on average 13, 4 PPG on 38.3 percent 3-point shot. Caldwell-Pope fought while serving a 25-day season penalty for a probation clause, but the guard shot better than 42 percent from depth in January, February and March.
Walton has told KCP to shoot when he has an open shot. Having not signed a single shooting specialist in the free agency, Lakers expect that KCP will be one of its best 3-point shooters this season. – Ohm Young Misuk

James knows he’ll have to finally rely on these players – all 23 years or younger – to bring youthful energy during the season.
“I’m an energetic person,” James said. “I just like being around energy providers and not applicants.”
When asked about Laker’s prospects, energy providers say James: “Therefore, I’m here.”
From the moment James took the floor for the first time as a Laker in the offense, he had his eyes on Ingram – developing chemistry, building his self-esteem. Ingram may be the most important Laker apart from James, and he is best suited to being LA’s No. 2 painter.
We have covered you as a new season of storylines starting over the league.
On average, he reached 16.1 PPG and 5.3 RPG while playing important steps to play the goalkeeper in Balls absence last season. Lakers will give Ingram the chance to be a champion, but he will have to do the most damage that runs the floor and finish, moves seamlessly and attacks one ton of the ball while James draws the opponent’s best defender. Ingram must become a consistent defensive force with its length while knocking down open 3s. – O.Y.
Kuzma came to camp and worked to put weapons in his offensive arsenal. But perhaps the most important thing he added was muscle. Kuzma has spent a lot of preseason who used to play the center, which could be crucial to Laker’s success. Walton wants to go small and load the floor with offensive weapons and interchangeable defenders.
If Kuzma can defend itself, it can prevent James from playing tough minutes in the middle of the game and perhaps limiting McGee’s error issues. – O.Y.
After injuring a tower meniscus for the bulk of the offseason, Ball must remain in court after missing 30 matches last season due to injury. His rebounding ability to drive the beat and finish in the transition can help him to enjoy himself.
With more versatile scorers and playmakers around him and less in the spotlight, Ball could take a step forward, but he must meet catch and shoot shots. It remains to be seen how much he plays, with Rondo who has already established himself as a leader and probably a starter. – OY
Hart took massive steps in the offseason, won the Las Vegas Summer League MVP honor and showed that he could be more than a 3-and-D guy . Hart showed that he could be a valuable starter with his ability to do all little things – defend, rebound, hit the open shot and finish.
Hart was Lakers best defender in the post as a rookie, and he was working to play the 4-place in the offseason for potential petty bets. James will appreciate Heart’s toughness, versatility and overall solid consistent play. – OY

“The story of James transformed from ineffective rookie to NBA scoring champion is one of a player who learns to attack defense with his awesome blend of speed and strength to create scoring chances in color. It’s still the key to his scoring portfolio now . ” – Kirk Goldsberry
Within Lakers’ LeBron Plan
“2018-19 Lakers with all their nice parts and mix of young and old, X have marked the spots deep in the corner – dropped to court by Lakers coach Luke Walton – as a reminder of where he wanted his wings hurry when the ball
