List of blood pressure drugs (amlodipine and valsartan) under recall added November 2018: Mylan, Teva

The Federal Drug Administration reports the recall is because of an impurity, N-nitroso-diethylamine (NDEA), found in the recalled products. The recalls in November follow several earlier recalls of valsartan-containing drugs after N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) was detected. See the full recall list here. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. two to five p.m. EST. On Nov. 27, 2018, Teva Pharmaceuticals joined the recall.
