Earlier this year, Google’s latest Pixel 3 smartphones leaked many times before its official announcement in October and it seems that the story is already repeating itself with a new mid-range model called Pixel 3 Lite. With less powerful specifications and an expected cheaper price than the standard Pixel 3 model, the new Pixel 3 Lite was discovered just over a week ago, with further details that follow quickly. We now have another look at the unannounced device in nature, this time next to its Pixel 3 siblings.

The first post of the Russian Twitter user @jc_ru The new photo makes the differences between Pixel 3 and Lite immediately clear. Shown to the left, Pixel 3 Lite has a higher 5.56 inch display with an 1

8.5: 9 aspect ratio, compared to Pixel 3 (right) with 5.5-inch screen and 18: 9 ratio.

Estimated code name “Sargo”, Pixel 3 Lite has been unveiled to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 670 processor, pairing with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space. While this is a slower chip than Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, Lite shares a surprising number of specs with its siblings that make it as appealing, if not more, for many Android users.

First, as the default Pixel 3, Lite does not use a notch on the display. It also has the same 12.2 MP camera on the back as Pixel 3, which means mid-range or does not directly have some of the best smartphone photography features around. Pixel 3 Lite also lends the same 2,915 mAh battery from Pixel 3, but the real gem is this: Lite has a headphone jack. Apart from the differences in the processor, the only other real disadvantage is that the unloaded devices eliminate the dual lens installation on the front camera.

With leaks and observations of Pixel 3 Lite increases, it’s likely that Google’s official announcement will be coming soon. There has been no word on device pricing or when it can be released, but the real issue at this point is whether Lite will be available in all markets next to Pixel 3 and 3 XL, or if it is only for specific regions.
