LA Chargers shoot winnings to six with victory over unfortunate raiders

Philip Rivers beat two touchdown passes, Melvin Gordon won 165 yards and Los Angeles Chargers won their sixth straight game, 20-6 over the fighting Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Rivers bounced back from a first quarter without any additions to throw a 11-yard TD pass to Keenan Allen in the second quarter to give Chargers (7-2) the lead for good and a 66-yarder to Gordon on opening hours in other half. Oakland started fast by steering the ball for 23 of 29 plays in the first quarter and outgaining Laddare by 129 meters. But Los Angeles was allowed a little after Melvin Ingram forced a fake on a sack Derek Carr early in the second quarter, with Raiders wanting to add a 3-0 leader. Rivers found his step after that, leading the ladder to a field goal and then constructing a 91-yard unit at the end of the half that was cut off to throw to Allen in the front corner of the end zone.
