Kenny Chesneys 2018 tournament season was full of stadiums and amphitheater, including massive venues such as AT & T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta. For his 2019 songs for Saints Tour, Chesney will take a slightly different thank you and take a closer look at smaller venues – for Chesney, anyway – in the spring.

Launches April 4 at KFC Yum! Downtown in Louisville, Kentucky, the Saints Tour numbers currently consist of 18 dates extending in late May. The upcoming tour takes its name from Chesney’s 201

8 album, which includes “Get Along” and the current single “Better Boat”, with songwriter Mindy Smith. Many of his songs were inspired by Chesney’s experiences in the Caribbean and the resilience of people who rebuilt Hurricane Irma.

On Wednesday, Chesney received the CMA Award for this year’s musical event for “Everything Will Be Good,” His collaboration with David Lee Murphy as featured on Murphy’s No Zip Code LP, co-produced by Chesney. The two were slated to perform the song during the show, but Chesney was forced to bow out because of a death in his family.
