Sorry, Pete Davidson, but BDE or “big dick energy” has taken human form in Kate Beckinsale.
Whenever the British actress sets up on Instagram, it is basically a social media masterpiece – seriously following her immediately. An unsuspecting fan found it out Wednesday with a much-needed lesson from Beckinsale in the midst of reports she thrives on to the comedian.
Beckinsale and Davidson struck it up one afternoon at the Golden Globes in Los Angeles, where they were discovered talking for most of the night and even shoved. While some reports claimed that the two left the event in tandem, a source mentioned above told People they left separately.
Beckinsale is obviously fun with the attention and dumbs the rumor with an answer so cheeky that fans are likely to eliminate speculation altogether.
“Dear heavens, Kate. Not Pete Davidson” commented on the judging tab under an old photo of Beckinsale’s mother, actress Judy Loe.
“No, it’s my mother. Simple error,” Beckinsale hit back without missing a blow.
Beckinsale and Davidson were in the aftermath of the comrades Isla Fisher, Sacha Baron Cohen and rapper Machine Gun Kelly, who walked the red carpet with the comedian.
Reports of their possible connection made the Internet rounds, with various sources claiming that they were inseparable for most of the night.
“They flirted all night and sipped with champagne,” someone said to Sid Six. “They were out on the patio and left together.”
“She was very flirty with him and there were definitely some vibes going on,” added another source of E!
Representatives of Beckinsale and Davidson did not immediately respond to HuffPost’s comments request.

The “Saturday Night Live” star is fresh after his breakup with the pop star Ariana Grande after their whirlwind engagement ended in October. While Grande has claimed she has no patterns in the New Year, Davidson has been discovered on several dates since the split.
In December, Davidson was seen with an unidentified woman at a restaurant in New York City, where waiters played Grande’s breakup anthem “thank you, next” during their meal.
