F Words FBI Director James Comey has filed a lawsuit in the Washington federal court fighting for a mood from the House Judiciary Committee to testify in a closed door session.

Comey was served by the murder of Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., Last week saying that he would only testify if the hearing was public.

In the 17-page movement filed in the US District Court District of Columbia late Thursday, a Comey attorney said that closed door sentence “exceeds a true legislative purpose, is issued in violation of the house rules and improper prejudices and harasses the witness.” [1

9659004] The House Committee Committee, together with the House Oversight Committee, has conducted a joint investigation on the Justice Department and the FBI’s actions before the 2016 presidential election. This includes the probe of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

The chairmen of both committees wrote a letter to Comey on September 21st and requested that he volunteered for a door interview, which Comey announced in a letter on October 1 that he should reject the invitation.

According to the objection made on Thursday, Comey did not hear from the committees until the lawsuit was issued on November 21st.

Comey’s testimony “will be subject to selective leakage by members of the members to promote the Committee’s abuse of this procedure and harassment of witnesses in closed door positions”, his lawyer Vincent Cohen wrote.

“Mr. Comey asks the court to intervene in order to avoid giving evidence but to prevent [two committees] from using a closed interview to deepen a distorted partisanist political story about Clinton and Russia’s investigations through selective leaks” wrote cohen

Comey, who has traded public barbs with not only President Trump but also Congress republicans, was abruptly interrupted in May 2017.
