Houston Texans Broad Receiver De Anders Hopkins showed his support for Freelagers quarterback Colin Kaepernick on Sunday with a shirt before the match against Cleveland Browns.
Hopkins was spotted the black shirt with Kaepernick No. 7 on the front and the slogan #IMWITHKAP scratched his chest on top of the figure.
“It’s my homie,” Hopkins said after asking why he was wearing the Houston Chronicle shirt. “That’s why I had that shirt.”
Star support did not go unnoticed. Kaepernick tweeted, “Estimate love from one of the best @DeAndreHopkins. Thank you brother !!!”
Kaepernick started a controversy during the 2016 season when he began to kneel under the national anthem over perceived racial badge across the United States. He chose his agreement with 49ers after the season and failed to unlock with any other team. He has filed a complaint against NFL, who claimed that the owners were blackballing him over his decision to protest before the NFL game.
Hopkins helped the Texans win the victory over Browns. He took seven balls for 91 meters. Houston is now 9-3 in the season and rides a nine-winning winning line.
