A home exploded in St. Paul’s Payne-Phalen neighborhood Friday morning.
Firemen responded to the scene in the 600th district Payne Avenue at 8.30. A person who was in the home was taken away from the wreck. The firefighters did not immediately have information about the person’s permission.
A dog and a cat were also drawn from the wreck of the home. The firemen said that both animals were susceptible.
Rubbish litters about the intersection after the explosion. Windows was split into a home across the street and eight residents in the surrounding homes shifted.
Firemen still worked on Friday morning to put the fire off a burning gas pipeline. The fire was still caused.
Neighbors reported having heard a high bomb on Friday morning.
“It sounded like a bomb went out,” says Ali Hussein, who lives across the street from home. [1
