Ubisoft Entertainment and Massive Entertainment recently announced that they would delay Tom Clancy’s Division 2 s first raid until next month and while players were certainly disappointed to learn this, It is always good to get all these ducks in line, even if it takes a little longer. That being said, dev devals also revealed that they would conduct a general test server for those playing on PC to try patches and what not before they are injected into the live game. Now that PTS has arrived, it’s time to learn what is being tested.

In a post on the game’s suberdit, Massive outlined what is currently in the rotation of tests performed on the Division 2 PTS. Many tweaks to mechanics are present as well as Dark Zone, PVP modifiers, Exotics, Talent and Gear changes. There is a lot to unpack, which you can check out the entire post here. There are some of the highlights below.

Normalization of Mechanics

  • The equipment and weapons will be normalized to the GS 500 (even if your GS is higher)

  • It also means that they no longer normalize for an intermediate class, but they respect the rollers of your gear. This means that when you had an object with a very high critical role, it will be so in normalized content.

  • Skill Power is also respected and when the mods are active in PVE, they will also be active in normalized content.

Global PVP Modifiers

  • PVP Damage Modified reduced from 70% to 40% and it will bring Time to Kill down to what you experience in PVE. That way, you have more time to react.

  • The modification protection modifier will be increased from 20% to 25%, so it should make your skills more effective.

  • Overall, the meetings should be longer everywhere and the skills should be [19659000] Occupied Dark Zone PVP Modifiers

    • They have also added a specific ODZ PVP damage modifier

    • Currently, it is sitting at 40% – the same as normalized DZ – but they have the ability to specifically fine ODZ depending on how things change.

    • It should also help to reduce the time to kill in ODZ

    ARP sheet modifiers

    • They will add specific PVP modifiers to specific weapon types.

    • For example, they can specifically buffer Assault Rifle in PVP now.

    • It also allows for specific PVP balancing, since the damage to the weapon was exceeded by the PVP modifiers when entering PVP content.

    Höftbrand Changes [19659023] Dark Zone

    Loot Chang es

    • NDZ and ODZ will release less clean shots and more contaminated loot, they want players to get involved in the Loot Extraction loop.

    • Named executives guarantee contaminated loot and higher planned landmark bosses have the ability to drop multiple items.

    Landmark Cooldown

    Dark Zone NPC Balancing

    Rogue Loop Changes

    • They took away Rogue Cooldown when you die

    • Rogue-Toggle chilling will stay, so you won’t be able to spam it.

    • Dark Zone Perk was also changed so that it will no longer reduce the Rogue Timer cooling, but you will lose less XP when you die as a rogue.

    Dark Zone Pouch increased

    • You will be able to carry more contaminated items.

    • Standard is 6 things per bag

    • The character limit was also changed – Tier 1 Perk increases the bag size to 8

    • The Dark Zone Perk increases the bag size to 10 in total.

    Preventing Empty Dark Zones

    • They pla n several changes to the “Warranty” that you encounter 12 players in a Dark Zone instance.

    • They reduce the amount of Dark Zone Brackets to 2. All under character level 30 and all in Endgame.

    • Not all changes will be implemented with title update 3 – there is more in the queue along the line.

    Busy Dark Zone changes

GS 515 Item will fall into Dark Zone
