HBO shares new “Game of Thrones” photos before the bloodiest, longest episode than – BGR

Lady of Winterfell looks a bit shaky in the picture at the top of this post, and it really is no secret why. The epic confrontation we all have been waiting for Game of Thrones last season reaches halfway this Sunday is almost here. And in advance of the Highstakes battle for Winterfell that will give the show the most bloody and longest episode so far, HBO has released a new series of images that annoy the upcoming fight. Some of the images seem to be taken directly from teaser to episode 3 that fans have seen this last Sunday at the end of the previous episode while others give us a little hint of what we have in place during the upcoming episode that will fall just shy of 90 minute mark. Among them are pictures of Jaime Lannister and Brienne struggling together for what seems to be the front row. We see Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow obviously far above the action and look it, like Tyrion Lannister and Vary's huddled down below, in safety (or rather pseudo-security) in the Stark crypt. Last week’s episode set the scene good for what will certainly go down as one of the most unforgettable in the series’ history. Bran left us wondering if he will be able to attract Night King to Godswood, where he can be handled somehow, once and for all. Or does he bypass Winterfell to make trouble for Cersei while his minions lock Winterfell down? It is safe to say that the body number in this section will be high, and there is a new undercurrent of excitement to start between Jon and Dany now that he has told his secret.

As far as the battle itself is concerned, it has been exposed as the most sustainable action sequence ever filmed for a television show or film, so it will undoubtedly be an intense sequence of events to see unfold. Who will be good news for those of you who have been worried during the season’s first two episodes that have been heavy on the plating and the exposition. Your patience will soon be rewarded.
