Keyboard applications are quite popular on Android and, unfortunately, few manufacturers offer good keyboards right out of the box. Gboard is our keyboard Favourite , for the few resources and battery consumed, apart from the personalization and functionalities it offers.
A clean keyboard, without unnecessary additions, and that improves day by day. Today, we tell you all the improvements that have come to Gboard in its new beta version , so that you go preparing for when they reach the stable version, or if you dare to install the beta on your phone.
As we can read in FoneArena the Google keyboard has been updated with interesting news , and is that the great G takes care of your input method, so that users are more than satisfied with what they offer. Specific, the new version of Gboard includes a battery saving mode for the first time , in which there will be, on the one hand, a black theme that will save energy in the OLED panels, which are becoming more frequent every day. For another, functions such as bitmoji and some related to GIFs will be disabled , so that the keyboard does not have to be doing any type of search.
Apart from this, Gboard now includes support for OCR – optical character recognition – something quite linked to Google Lens, but whose features have not told us anything yet. By last, we can add personalized texts to the GIFs that we send , something we could not do before.
New functions for a keyboard that was already going pearl , and that is a reference in its sector. Of course, you can install the beta to enjoy some of the functions , although you can always wait for the final version, which should not take more than a few weeks to get progressively to all phones.
