Give a chance to win consoles, smartwatches and more in 2018 Ars Charity Drive

It's once again the special time of year when we give you the chance to do well by doing good. That's right-it's time for the 2018 edition of our annual Charity Drive. Each year since 2007, we have actively encouraged readers to give to the Penny Arcade Children's Play Charity, which provides toys and games for children treated in hospitals around the world. In recent years, we have added the Electronic Frontier Foundation to our annual charity struggle, using its efforts to defend Internet freedom. This year, we will always provide extra incentives for those donations by offering donors a chance to win parts of our large pile of supplier-supplied swag. We can not keep it (ethically), and we do not want it to stay in our offices anyway. It is now yours to win. This year's swag stack is full of high quality nerd goddesses. We have nearly 20 prizes of almost $ 5,000 in value including game consoles, computer accessories, collectibles, smartwatches and much more. In 201 7, Ars readers increased over $ 36,000 for charity, contributing a total pull of more than 280,000 dollars since 2007. We want to raise even more this year and we can really do it about readers digging deeply. How it works Donation is easy. Donate simply to Child Play with PayPal or donate to EFF using PayPal, Credit Card or Bitcoin. Give a chance to win consoles, smartwatches and more in 2018 Ars Charity Drive

It’s once again the special time of year when we give you the chance to do well by doing good. That’s right-it’s time for the 2018 edition of our annual Charity Drive.

Each year since 2007, we have actively encouraged readers to give to the Penny Arcade Children‘s Play Charity, which provides toys and games for children treated in hospitals around the world.

This year’s swag stack is full of high quality nerd goddesses. We have nearly 20 prizes of almost $ 5,000 in value including game consoles, computer accessories, collectibles, smartwatches and much more. In 201

7, Ars readers increased over $ 36,000 for charity, contributing a total pull of more than 280,000 dollars since 2007. We want to raise even more this year and we can really do it about readers digging deeply.

How it works

Donation is easy. Donate simply to Child Play with PayPal or donate to EFF using PayPal, Credit Card or Bitcoin. You can also support children’s play directly by picking an item from Amazon’s wish list at a specific hospital on its donation page. Donate as much or as little as you feel comfortable with – every little bit helps.

When it’s ready, it’s time to register your post in our competitions. Just take a digital copy of your receipt (a forwarded email, a screenshot or just a clip-and-paste) and send it to [email protected] with your name, mailing address, phone number and phone address at. 11:59 ET Thursday, January 7, 2019. (One item per person, and each person can only win up to a price. Only US residents. NO BUY NEED. See official rules for more information, including how to enter without making a donation. See also Ars Technic’s privacy policy.)

We will then contact the winners and have them choose their price by January 31st (the selection will be in the order of the winners).

prices

Here are quick descriptions of some of the biggest, most desirable prizes in this year’s competition. See page two for a complete list of available prices.

Thrustmaster TPR Pendular Rudder Pedals

Our own Lee Hutchinson called these pedals “the best flight impedals you can buy in a shop like a normal person” in his review earlier this year. But he can not keep them like a normal person, and his loss can be your win!

PS4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition

We took this beauty out of the box to catch some pictures earlier this year and then put it right back knowing that any reader would win it in this charity drive. Despite the misleading name (sold to 500 million PlayStation consoles sold), only 50,000 units were manufactured and sold out quickly, so this would be your best chance to get your hands on this console sol.

Garmin Fenix 5S Plus Smartwatch

Title of Valentina Paladinos Ar’s review of this advanced smart clock summarizes it: “So clever, so enviable, so expensive.” The last part may not concern you if you win this coveted smartwatch in our competitions.

Cyberpunk 2077 E3 Press Exclusive Statue

Ars Samkhkovch was quite blown away by the demo behind the door he received for the CD Project Reds Cyberpunk 2077 on the E3 this year. In addition to the memories, he went away from the demo with a limited edition statue, just released to demo participants on E3 and Gamescom. You can go away from these competitions with the same statue.
