Samsung Galaxy S9 and S8 have so far missed all the benefits of Android 9 Pie.
This is because both devices are currently running the previous version of Google’s operating system, Android Oreo.
Mountain View The company announced Android 9 Pie back in August and it was originally released for Pixel devices and Essential Phone.
But since then, a number of other manufacturers have received the new software.
Sonys Xperia XZ3 recently debuted and featured the latest and greatest from Google.
And the Japanese company’s Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact smartphones have also recently received Android 9 Pie upgrades.
But now it seems Samsung has detailed plans for the new operating system and Galaxy fans can get it very soon.
In a post on the Samsung + app, the Korean company Android 9 Pie discussed and insisted it will be “early next year”.
The update, spotted by XDA Developers, read: “Fir St, it was Marshmallow, then it was Nougat, and then everyone’s favorite cookie Oreo.
