Researchers have found a new star whose brightness varies in an unusual way. The most famous object is the so-called “Star Tabby”, which astronomers explained the different hypotheses, until the space structures for foreigners. The results are posted on Preprint

Space Observatory Kepler, designed to search for exoplanets, discovered unusual fluctuations in star brightness KIC 8462852, more commonly known as “Star Tabby “- named after one of the detectives, Tabitha Boyajian. This star is bigger and warmer sun, but first and foremost interesting because of its radiation mysteriously changed: she palated and flared up without regularity. Fo Rare has suggested many reasons that can explain this aulani, including rotating around the mega structure of foreigners, huge clouds of dust and big comets of fungi.
In the new work, the astronomers write another star named VVV-WIT-07, whose brightness is also strange. Observations that led from 201
0 to 2018 years reveal no patterns of changes in brightness, but sometimes it sometimes drops by 80%, while Star Tabby only dims to 20%, which, however, is much for such luminaires.
There is another star with an unusual brightness change – J1407, also called “an object of Mamaduka” commissioned by the detective Eric Mamajek. By 2012, light intensity was reduced by 95%, but these changes can be traced to the periodic pattern, which explains the presence of satellites of large planets or brown dwarfs with an extremely extensive ring system hundreds of times larger than Saturn.
The discovery of several stars with unusual brightness variations indicates that they are relatively common. However, some astronomers doubt the true similarity between VVV-WIT-07 and KIC 8462852. That Tabby Star is old enough and should not be a private activity, while VVV-WIT-07 is young and consequently large changes in brightness can be linked to internal processes. Also along the field of view to the VVV-WIT-07 is substantially more galactic dust, which also causes a significant distortion in the light. The authors of the new work hope I have time to observe on large telescopes to get much more detailed information about the object’s radiation.
