At Microsoft’s X018 conference, the company announced the first major expansion for Forza Horizon 4. DLC is called Fortune Island, and it will start on December 13th. It keeps you racing through Britain but takes you to some northern British Isles with particularly fragile mountain sides and dangerous weather like thunderstorms. The new setting is not without its calm charm, as you will be able to witness aurora borealis.
Of course, Fortune Island comes along with a new set of cars to drive as well. The game has already begun to roll out the five custom-built Ford vehicles from the GymkhanaTEN video series. Passengers can already get the 1977 Ford GymkhanaTEN, F-150 Hoonitruck and 1
993 Escort Cosworth Group A. Then they can also get the Ford Ford Hoonicorn Mustang V2 and Ford720 Ford Fiesta RS 1965, followed by the 2016 Ford GymkhanaTEN Focus RS RX in December.
Fortune Island is part of the $ 35 expansion package, which is available to Ultimate Edition owners at no additional charge. If you are a Game Pass subscriber, you already have access to Forza Horizon 4 as part of your subscription, and you can get the extensions as a bundle or individually for 10% off.
Sets the expansion in rocky north should be a challenge for experienced racers, especially considering the game’s selection function in different seasons. GameSpot’s Forza Horizon 4 review found the seasons had a real impact on gameplay and contributed to a variety of racing types.
“Everything you do in Horizon feels valuable, no matter how big or small it is – from the basic thrill of speed, a fast car down a beautiful mountain road to spend time honing your favorite trip to handle seasonal roads to just hang out with friends and strangers online and get away in friendly games, “says critic Edmond Tran. “The Horizon series is as palpable as ever, a winning, comprehensive recipe that celebrates the joy of driving above all”.
