Fortnite's latest vehicles and patch have been delayed

December 17, 2018 Technology 0 Views Just a few hours after having plagued the existence of Fortnite s newest, probably snowboard-like vehicle, Epic Games has announced that the vehicle, called Driftboard, will not be released with the game's upcoming patch . Fans first understood the board back in Epic's first official Tuesday in the new season, where a sign of a snowboard could be seen just outside the side of the picture. Season 7 update came and went without mentioning the new vehicle. However, it seems that Epic just bowed its time. On Monday Epic tweeted aa the cryptic series of emojis which seems to point to the existence of the board, then posted another tweet that began with the phrase " almost time to shred." But just a few hours later, the company released a thread on the game's official subtitle, declaring that there had been a bug with Driftboard, and that it would not let the vehicle slip with patch v7.10, which was originally slated to go live Tuesday morning. However, that was not the end of the bad news for the patch. Just half an hour later, in a new tweet Epic announced that it had found a major issue that would delay the release of the patch altogether. It is not clear now that this update will be available. Also unclear is whether the drive plate will be included in the patch when it comes out. Source link
