Epic Games has released Fortnite update 6.22 and detailed the contents of it with a new set of patch notes. The big new addition is an attack gun named Heavy AR, which was recently taken in the game, but there are also two new time-limited modes – one of which has AI-controlled enemies.
The first of these LTMs is Team Terror. It pisses two teams of 32 against each other with the goal of wiping out the opposite side. The impression is that Cube Monsters, the enemies the players must do during the recent Fortnitemares event, will also attack you. Of course, they can release some nice loot, so it may be wise to handle them before the enemy’s players.
The second LTM is the recurring Blitz. This takes basic Battle Royale games and speeds up things, because the storm circle begins to close right from the start of the match. It will also close more often than usual, resulting in matches that should not be longer than 1
5 minutes. To speed up things, there is more loot to find around the map.
You can check out the patch notes for Fortnite: Battle Royale below. Proceed to Fortnite’s website to see what’s new with Save the World mode – which includes a continuation of the Fortune Masters event of the co-op.
Epic Games recently announced a partnership with NFL to bring football leather to Fortnite. These will be based on actual shirts, and they will arrive later this week, following this new update. The outfits will be purchased from Fortnite in the game store, but Epic has not yet announced price information. All 32 NFL teams will be represented, and Epic says that you can also customize your shirt with a number from 0-99. The shine will be available in the store starting at 16:00 PT / 7 PM ET on November 9th.
Monsters has invaded Battle Royale Island! Two teams will fight what Cube Monsters monsters join in the game. Defeat the second team to win a Victory Royale.
Flash is a faster pace of Battle Royale. The match begins with the storm moving towards the island, and the delay between each circle is shorter than normal and creates matches that are 15 minutes long or less. The map also has extra loot and resources. Profile statistics count in this mode, so fight hard for Victory Royale!
