Gamers are reporting that the latest Fortnite event has occurred and could mean big things for the Floating Island.
According to those who have been keeping track of Kevin – currently stuck in the floating island – the cube could be returned to what used to be Loot Lake.
The island has been floating around the map for some time and now looks to have completed its task.
Having activated the runes originally left by the cube, it looks like the final ritual has Been completed and all the runes have been dropped.
What this means is anyone’s guess, though fans are still hoping for some kind of big volcanic explosion, possibly as part of a new Halloween 2018 event.

Epic Games posted a new picture of What looks to be a zombie calamity mash-up, along with the caption: “Costumes and dancing, Partner up, be wise. They could be friendly, or a ghoul in disguise. “
Could this be a new LTM mode, much like we saw with the High Stakes event? Epic Games is hinting at.

In order to make the action even more fast, frantic and chaotic, the Battle Bus has been given an update in the engine department.
Epic Games announced the news on Twitter, revealing that the Battle Bus would now travel at higher speeds.
“The Battle Bus is testing an engine upgrade and now travels 25% faster while flying,” reads an epic tweet. “Remember, always buckle up and thank your driver!”
