A Manhattan federal jury has sentenced the sports radio personality Craig Carton of Fraud – setting the fallen “Boomer and Carton” hosted for up to 45 years in prison.

After less than one day of deliberations, a jury of three men and nine women, Carton found guilty on all points, including securities fraud, wire fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud.

Cardboard looked immediately when the jury read them.

The approximately one week long trial included witnesses from hedge fund managers who said they gave Carton million as an investment in bulk events, including a national tour of Metallica and two Barbra Streisand concerts.

Documents showed that the money went instead to pay Carton’s personal expenses, including his games

At the time, Carton spent big money at casinos &#821

One of these loan sharks wa Desmond Finger, head of the Upper East Side Strip Club Sapphire 39, who told the jury, he gave Carton several short-term high-interest loans to fund their casino tours 2016 and 2017. Finger lost money 2017 when Carton failed to make good on a loan of $ 500,000, told the strip club boss.

The men held a seat on the jiggle joint – along with Michael Wright, who has committed himself to helping Carton’s fraud – but nowhere, Sade Finger, went anywhere.

“He answered yes and I said yes,” he said.

The fed was also sent as documented e-mails by Carton, including one spoken of by Fred Mangione, director of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, who owns the Barclays Center and the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

The alleged false Mangione email included minor mistakes in Mangion’s signature of his email, including listing of his title as “chief of staff”. Instead of “Chief of Staff”, the government’s evidence shows.

Carton resigned from WFAN’s top rated radio show “Boomer and Carton” one week after its arrest.

He currently has a show on the FNTSY Sports Network called “Carton & Friends.”
