For Kevin Durant, it's an honor to take Steph Curry

OAKLAND – There will not be many, if any more teams entering Oracle Arena, less equipped to fight warriors than Grizzlies who took the floor Monday night. They were heavy underdogs that morning and lost most every realistic opportunity to support the defending champions when Mike Conley, the bullet guard and the hub of the roster, were declared without action an hour before the tipoff. So the warriors took care of business without fanfare and threw to a 110-93 win. Here are some positive and negative things taken from the game: POSITIVE Iguodala's shot Other Iguodala's tendency to move the ball – an open attempt to show an example to his teammates &#821 1; makes him reluctant to shoot .

Here are some positive and negative things taken from the game:

POSITIVE

Iguodala’s shot

Other Iguodala’s tendency to move the ball – an open attempt to show an example to his teammates &#821

1; makes him reluctant to shoot . He only took three shots, all 3 pointers, do each and finished 10 points. It’s efficiency. He is 7-of-12 from deep over his last five games and scored in double numbers in the last two.

Iguodala score continues to be an X factor, but not as much as before. When he can keep the defense honest, he creates space and sends energy through his teammates.

NEGATIVE

Draymond’s shooting problems

Draymond Greens shuttle solutions continued graphically. He was 1-of-8 from the floor, 0-of-1 from beyond the bow and missed a pair of shots in the color. In four matches since returning from the injury list he shot 29.2 percent from the field and 12.5 percent from the depths. He does not shoot with confidence.

Because he does so many other things, the point is last on the list of Greens priorities. But he has never been so bad. If he can not be a threat, his teammates will see more defensive traffic.

POSITIVE

Defending Demand

After running in the first quarter with the intensity of a light screen and still building an eight-point lead, Warriors decided to put the game away in the season. They brought the heat. With Green who led the pack, they held Memphis into three field goals and forced four sales in the first eight minutes to go up 19.

When the warriors are aggressive on defense, most teams are in their mercy. These Grizzlies had no chance.

NEGATIVE

Bell looks away

Jordan Bell, the most athletic “big man” on the roster, failed with two dunk attempts, one who hit the front edge of the rim and the other blocked. When he finally converted a late in the third quarter there was a mock celebration. It is as far as he has fallen. He played 12 minutes and finished minus-1 – the only Warriors played in both halves to land in the mini-player.

With Damian Jones lost for damage, Bell has an opportunity. He has not been able to take advantage of it. He is fighting for a time of distress.

POSITIVE

Milestones

Stephen Curry needed 10 points to reach 15,000 for his career and came over a transition 3 in the second quarter. He is now at 15,010. Kevin Durant needed 9 points to pass Larry Bird and move into 33rd place on the scout list with 21,806. He achieved it with a free kick late in the first half. Klay Thompson needed 8 points to reach 11,000 and zoomed past it in the second quarter.

It has long been apparent that the war era has three full-time competitors on the roster. The numbers are heavy and they will continue to come.
