Florida man allegedly burglary cars in prison a lot after a few minutes

Michael Casey Lewis, 37, Stuart, Florida, was arrested after alternates at the prison parking lot just exited saying they saw him pull on the handles of vehicle doors off St Lucie County lockup, according to a sheriff's statement. After being released, deputies in the prison parking lot Lewis observed dragging hand doors in the car and learned that he had just burgled several cars just outside the prison. St. Lucie County Sheriff Office Treasure Coast Newspapers reported that the suspect was initially imprisoned on charges of theft. The St. Lucia County Sheriff Office said in his statement that he had "tied out and released" when alternates saw him. The office claims that "he just had burglary several cars right there in prison." Authorities at that time said Lewis "rebooked" in prison and faces more charges. A Florida man was arrested this week just after being released from prison for saying they would break into cars in prison parking, the authorities of St. Lucie County said.

Michael Casey Lewis, 37, Stuart, Florida, was arrested after alternates at the prison parking lot just exited saying they saw him pull on the handles of vehicle doors off St Lucie County lockup, according to a sheriff’s statement.
