While there may be some showers Monday morning, most of the morning should be quiet and cool.

Heavier rain and falls begin to roll around lunchtime Monday and continue through early evening commute. Less than a inch of rain is expected.

Although this would not normally produce flooding, the soil is saturated from Saturday’s rain and can not handle much more rain so that further rain can trigger more flood.

In addition to freshwater flooding, coastal currents are possible down the beach for Monday morning high tide, which takes place around 10:00.
