ORLANDO, Fla. There is a lot of excitement about the University of Central Florida’s knights playing in Fiesta Bowl against Louisiana State University Tigers.
Tickets went on sale Tuesday morning at Spectrum Stadium Box Office and the students have camped to try to get tickets.
The first 200 people got free tickets and another 300 tickets went to $ 50.
The first people arrived on Sunday afternoon. The students even looked late on Monday night, played board games, studied and stood alone to hold the spot for a chance for a free ticket.
“We have been here late at 4 am since they announced it,” said UCF student Omar Nasser.
UCF leader Robert Clements waited in line for a free ticket since late Sunday afternoon.
“We came out shortly after they announced the dish,” an excited Clements said. “We booked our airline tickets, hotel, we knew this was a game we would not miss.”
“We wanted to make sure we came here and the moment we saw UCF Social Media Team let it go free, we freaked out and called everyone we knew to come here,” says UCF student John Warren. [1

They plan to fly on December 30 and stay on January 2 in Glendale, Arizona. While many fans hoped for the playoffs, they are happy to “Fiesta” as the knights take on LSU.
“Peach Bowl was amazing last year back to back Champions. We should see us love LSU in the game, said UCF student Jackie Yarnell.
Yarnell and her friends moved forward and they get free tickets. They also try to save some money by driving.
“It’s not realistic to come from Orlando to Arizona with flight costs. We’ll try to travel, make it low and do 30-hour drive,” says Yarnell.
The first 200 tickets are free, they must show a UCF ID, and another 300 tickets will be $ 50.
If you’re not a student and did not get a free ticket on the ticket window today, that’s okay. Tickets are still available, but you can act better – ticket prices range from $ 95 to $ 750 dollars.
On New Year’s Day, the riders will try to start the new year in the same way they started last – with a win
Tickets went on sale at 9 o’clock on Tuesday.
