1; The former police chief of a small Florida city will serve three years in jail for a conspiracy in his department to hit black people for crimes

A federal judge in Miami resigned on Tuesday on ex-Biscayne Park chief Raimundo Atesiano, who had met a maximum 10-year sentence . Three other former officers have also pleaded guilty to the case, which centered Atesiano efforts to improve his department’s crime rate.
Atesiano lawyer says the victims were not randomly chosen but were known to police as criminal past. 19659011] Prosecutors say that crimes such as black people were imprisoned included burglaries and burglaries.
Two ex officers were sentenced to one year in prison, while the third received more than two years after the bars.
