Eagles QB Nick Foles CV, Super Bowl, Hall of Fame

The CV as Nick Foles puts together as a starting point for the eagles starts to be hard to ignore – and even crazy to watch. Nick Foles is called starter vs Texans After Eagles 30-23 victory over Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night there is a strong argument that Foles has been the quarterback for almost all the eagles big gains since his drafting in 2012. Important late season wins. Playoff wins. Primetime wins. Wins in the snow. Super Bowl wins When considering the fact that he has never been "the guy" on the quarterback, what Foles has achieved in an eagle uniform is almost unbelievable. Foles (30 starts): 19-11 (63%), 62 TD, 31 INT, 8,011 meters, 61.9%, 91.6 QBR Great Winnings: Super Bowl LII, NFC Championship, Divisional Round, Win Over Frames in 2018, Week 1 Win Over Falcons in 2018, Snow Bowl vs. Detroit 2013, Win over Cowboys in Dallas to complete the division Achievements: Super Bowl MVP, Pro Bowl MVP, 7 touchdowns in one game, NFL record after season pass grades of 113.2 (at least 125 attempts) … How to stack up to what Carson Wentz, a player as many as an elite quarterback, has achieved during his time with the eagles. Wentz (40 starts): 23-17 (57%), 70 TD, 28 INT, 10,152 yards, 63.7%, 92.5 QBR Great winnings: Week 6 against Carolina in 2017, Week 3 vs Giants in 2017 Achievements : May have won MVP last year if not hurt, voted third best player in NFL…

After Eagles 30-23 victory over Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night there is a strong argument that Foles has been the quarterback for almost all the eagles big gains since his drafting in 2012. Important late season wins. Playoff wins. Primetime wins. Wins in the snow. Super Bowl wins

When considering the fact that he has never been “the guy” on the quarterback, what Foles has achieved in an eagle uniform is almost unbelievable.

Foles (30 starts): 19-11 (63%), 62 TD, 31

INT, 8,011 meters, 61.9%,

91.6 QBR

Great Winnings: Super Bowl LII, NFC Championship, Divisional Round, Win Over Frames in 2018, Week 1 Win Over Falcons in 2018, Snow Bowl vs. Detroit 2013, Win over Cowboys in Dallas to complete the division

Achievements: Super Bowl MVP, Pro Bowl MVP, 7 touchdowns in one game, NFL record after season pass grades of 113.2 (at least 125 attempts)

How to stack up to what Carson Wentz, a player as many as an elite quarterback, has achieved during his time with the eagles.

Wentz (40 starts): 23-17 (57%), 70 TD, 28 INT, 10,152 yards, 63.7%, 92.5 QBR

Great winnings: Week 6 against Carolina in 2017, Week 3 vs Giants in 2017

Achievements : May have won MVP last year if not hurt, voted third best player in NFL by their comrades 2017

*** Note: I do not put the eagles over the 2017 frame on both sides since they both played. You can discuss either side, Wentz or Foles, but it seemed fair to leave it by either resume ***

To be clear – this is not to say Foles is better than Wentz. This is not an argument to keep Foles in, or to bench Wentz. It does not pick a page in the now red hot Wentz or Foles debate.

Related: Eagles should definitely go back to Wentz

It’s just setting perspective on how much Foles has achieved and how it becomes difficult to look at him as something other than one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in Eagles history despite that he has almost always been viewed as a backup.
