NEW YORK –

Halloween candy is like a box of chocolate … you never know who you will get. And sometimes you felt a bit more cheated than treated as a child.

According to a new survey commissioned by Reese’s, 90 percent of Americans say they have traded or wish they could have traded their unwanted candy on Halloween.

In addition, four out of five Americans have traded or would like to shop for candy as they did not like a Reeses peanut butter.

Their methodology? An online survey among more than 1,276 American adults 18 years and older, who have tricked or treated some time in their lives.

Reeses peanut buttercakes happen to be number one Halloween candy. And then Reese has made a solution.

People who do not like Halloween candy as they get after a night of trick or treatment, can now switch candy to Reese Peanut Butter.

Reese creates a special machine, called “candy converter”, designed just for this replacement.

It debuted at the Tarrytown Annual Halloween Parade, and is on its way to New York City Wednesday night.

Reese will replace up to 1

0,000 copper.

It will be set up on Wednesday on Fifth Avenue, outside of Washington Square Park from 4 pm. to 19:00
