A divorced General Motors worker shared his message to President Trump on “Fox & Friends First” Friday morning.

Tommy Wolikow worked for nine years at the GM plant in Lordstown, Ohio, which is one of five North American plants the company plans to close 2019 before being delivered in January 2017.

GM CEO Mary Barra , announced last week a review of production that will eliminate up to 15,000 jobs at the end of the factories in Ohio, Michigan, Maryland and Ontario, Canada. The move will also be killed by six GM models, including Chevy Cruze, which is the vehicle produced at the Lordstown factory.

“President Trump … our area definitely needs help,” said Wolikow. “You’re the US President, you’re CEO, please start keeping these companies like General Motors and Harley-Davidson responsible for their actions.”

“I feel like a big corporate greeting going on and we know you have the power to help us,” he added. 1

“With this last devastating news … it was just the straw that broke the camel’s back,” said Wolikow.

He revealed that his father was a worker at the factory and Wolikow believed that he would have long-term financial stability and a pension like his dad.

“People in our area know that General Motors is the heart of our society. And if you take your heart away from your body, your body falls. And we are really afraid that society will not be able to bounce back after this.”
