Bungie announced today that the season of the offlaw, the spagetti-west-inspired first season of Destiny 2: Forsaken, will end in November 27. That date will also mark the beginning of the Forge season, which will look back by heavy machine gun . And one week after 4 December, the first of three expansions included in Destiny 2 will be the one-year-old pass to go live: The Black Armory.
The message is a bit detailed, but Bungie said it’s coming to release a new video and “full gameplay calendar” that will break down what’s coming over the rest of the year on November 27th when the new season goes live.
“What we have planned is not the extensions after the launch you may have played last year,” wrote dev.
“What will each season hold for each player in Destiny 2? How are Annual Passes that experience? These are the questions we want to answer when we present you completely to enjoy your hobby as Guardians with new challenges to conquer and new rewards you want to add to your inventory. “
The update includes an overview of changes and updates coming before the end of the current season, including increased rewards for Gambit’s multiplayer mode and details on triumphs and missions as will (and will not) be restored.
Bungie also warned that during the week between the beginning of the Season of Forge and the opening of the Black Army, “Destiny 2 will be in a transitional city, and players may encounter a number of unforeseen issues.” The support team is currently compiling a list of things You can come on during that week and share it when it’s done.
