FOXBORO, Mass. – Miami Dolphin’s broad recipient Danny Amendola does everything he can to prove he can play Sunday against his former team, New England Patriots. It also means not listening to his head coach, Adam Gase.
Amendola missed last week’s game with knee injury. He returned to field Wednesday.
“Just to get him to work out (Wednesday) was good to be able to do some of the things he did,” said Gase. “We see how the week goes. I’m pretty sure you know what he’s already saying. I’m just trying to make sure we go through the week correctly, where he’s not in a worse position.”
“But that Here is the first time I would say he does not match much with me. He wants to play in this game as badly as anyone else. I try to give him a little bit of ability to show he can go but try to make sure we get through the week properly so we do not lose him for longer than we already have. “
Amendola has 48 catches for 469 meters with a touchdown this season, his first with the dolphins. He has also returned two points for 1
The 10-year-old veteran had 230 receptions for 2,383 meters with 12 touchdowns in five seasons with the patriots. He added 57 catches for 709 meters with six touchdowns in 13 post season games.
