The kings will be sincere!
Kensington Palace released two brand new portraits of the British royal family Tuesday, before Prince Charles’s 70th anniversary on Wednesday. The pictures, taken by Chris Jackson, present Charles and his wife, Duchess Camilla, Prince William, Duchess Kate, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan, as well as Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
“Wishing a very happy 70th Birthday to the Prince of Wales!” The castle wrote on Twitter. “Two new photographs of The Prince of Wales and his family, taken by @ChrisJack_Getty in the Garden of Clarence House, have been released to celebrate HRH’s 70th birthday.”
The family is all smiles in the color-coordinated images, all wearing white, blue or any combination of the two. In the first portrait released, they looked more relaxed than expected in official portraits released by the palace, reflecting the loosening of rules observed by British royal brothers during the past year and changing.
Meghan, Camilla and George are all my laughs in the portrait, with George sitting excited about his grandfather and Camilla urges Charlotte to look in the camera’s direction. Meanwhile, Harry’s arm around his wife and his brother, William, stands proud of his own wife, who keeps her youngest child, Louis, welcomed in May.
