The end of the college’s football season has come, so it’s time for Rivalry Week action here in week 13 as we get closer to a national champion in early January. We were already treated to action with a few College Football Playoff attendees on Friday but Saturday will definitely tell us if there will be some kind of shakeup at the top of the College Football Playoff Rankings this Tuesday when we enter the conference championship next weekend .

The four main teams in the Common Fisheries Policy are all in action against their rivals with The Game and Iron Bowl, which reaches the center. The action begins at noon ET and continues late in the evening, so let’s take a look at the biggest games on schedule Saturday along with our predictions of what will appear in these competitions. Our CBS Sports College football experts have chosen each game both straight up and against the spread, giving you plenty of opportunity to decide how to make your choices before the kickoff.

All times east

no. 4 Michigan (-4.5) 1

0 o’clock Ohio State – Noon on FOX, streaming live on fuboTV (try free): I do not have much confidence in this pick. I think Michigan wins more often than not, but I’m not sure that a team that has not won in Columbus, Ohio, for nearly 20 years should benefit from Horseshoe. Because of that, because I expect this game to be lower, and because I think there is a general overreaction to Ohio State near a call to Maryland last week, I have to take Buckeyes and the points. Select: Ohio State +4.5 – Tom Fornelli

Auburn at No. 1 Alabama (-24.5) – 3:30 p.m. on CBS, streaming live on CBSSports.com and fuboTV (try for free): Sorry, Auburn, but if you have not solved your problems now you’re not against Alabama. Led by Quinnen Williams, the defense of closing Auburn’s crimes will make it difficult for quarterback Jarrett Stidham to put his feet and take advantage of Gus Malzahn’s lack of creativity with the crime. Having said that, Crimson Tide gives up too many points in Las Vegas. Auburn will hit some big gigs late to sneak back in the back door and cover the spread. Pick: Auburn (+24.5) – Barrett Sallee

South Carolina at No. 2 Clemson (-26.5) – 7 p.m. on ESPN: Clemson has reached Alabama status. There is no spread where I feel comfortable picking the tigers to cover, mostly because I think there is very low thanks for how many points we can expect from the opposition. Clemson’s defense has prepared to peak in December and January, and we see the fruits of the preparation with stifling performances in the field. Pick: Clemson -26.5 – Chip Patterson

No. 7 LSU at No. 22 Texas A & M (-2.5) – 7:30 p.m. at SECN: Texas A & M has major shortcomings, but can LSU utilize them? I do not think so. Quarterback Joe Burrow is not much of a downfield threat and is at his best when he can work out of play action after the backballs have established the field play. It is difficult to establish the selected game against Aggies. This will be a low-grade school, and Trayveon Williams will make a big game late to give the Aggies a victory and cover. Pick: Texas A & M (-2.5) – Barrett Sallee

No. 3 Notre Dame (-10.5) at USC – 8 p.m. at ABC: I just do not see how anyone could talk to believe in USC in this match. We are talking about a USC team that has lost games to almost everyone with a pulse this season. Yes, it is the responsibility of the Washington State alone loss of the year, but it was before damage further softened the defense. Then there is a Notre Dame team who has met Test after Test 2018 and passed them all. Last week, there were many people who thought the Irish would finally travel to Syracuse. Instead, they won 36-3. I expect a similar performance on Saturday night. Select: Notre Dame -10.5 – Tom Fornelli
