After the season’s first northern Europe, Boston has suffered a meteorological fog.
Sunday probably does not have much sunshine, in a city that woke to faint fog and a risk of rain, according to the National Weather Service.
The temperature is expected to reach no more than 56 degrees in Boston. A western wind will also probably hold onto the day with winds up to 23 miles per hour.
In the evening there is a risk of rain in the early hours and a low temperature of about 45 degrees.
Monday is likely to also be damp, with rain and thunderstorms expected before 3pm and fog in the afternoon.
But the sun is expected to return Tuesday with a high temperature of about 51 degrees.
Halloween on Wednesday is expected to start a warmer stretch of 62 degrees. Trick-or-treaters are likely to enjoy a mild evening with low about 52 degrees Wednesday night.
High temperatures Thursday and Friday are also expected to be above 60 degrees, predecessor said.
