Alabama entered Saturday’s match against Citadel as a 54.5-point favorite, and it sounds pretty right considering that it is number one team in the country and has closed its two last opponents, both of which were ranked.
So this week 12 matches between a 10-0 defensive national team and a 4-5 FCS team are not exactly even. But Bulldogs know it so they celebrate any victory over Crimson Tide that they can get, including the coin throw.
Props to them for this fun self-destructive joke.
Also in Chattanooga Times Free Press “Alabama”, Citadel provides a $ 500,000 check for the ability to defend itself against Bulldog’s opportunity violations. [UPDATE] The bulldogs bound the game with a touchdown in the second quarter.
