Los Angeles Ram’s quarterback coach Zac Taylor is Cincinnati Bengal’s best choice to be their next head coach, league sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen.
The Bengals want to hire Taylor, 35, after the Los Angeles “season ends, sources said. As the frames are still in play, they cannot negotiate a contract.
Taylor was the offensive coordinator of the University of Cincinnati in 2016 and sources said.
Taylor would replace Marvin Lewis, who separated way with Bengals after the season, ended a 16-year service.
