More than 400 US military officials paid over half a million dollars in a “sex scene” chancellor prison detention prison in South Korea’s correctional facilities online, says the authorities.
On Wednesday, agents from several military crime investigation agencies said arrest warrant and convictions to those alleged to be involved in the system as the first phase of Operation Surprise Party, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) said in a press release.
In total, 442 troops from the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps paid more than 560,000 dollars, according to the release.
“This despicable focus on our courageous service members will never be tolerated,” said NCIS director Andrew Traver in the release. “We will not allow criminal networks to worsen the preparedness of our military force.”

More than 250 people associated with the system are under investigation and may face charges.
It was not clear how the extortion ring grew or how long it lasted.
Other fraud involving the military involves compiling images of military men and using them to launch online novels with no malicious women before pushing them for money with the threat of revealing personal information.
