The actor Bruce Dern has been released from the hospital on Friday night and is “in a good mood” after a fall during his daily jogging in Los Angeles earlier this day, according to his representative.
Dern, 82, broke his hip after the fall in Runyon Canyon, his representative told TMZ.
The accident took place when the Dern slipped on the gravel during jogging, told the Oscar-winning actor’s chief Variety.
Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene, TMZ reported.
In the 2013 movie “Nebraska”, Woodrow T. Woody Grant earned him a nomination for Oscar for best actor.
He also played in movies “Coming Home”, “The Hateful Eight”, “Black Sunday” and “White Boy Rick.”
His representative said that Dern just stopped playing Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”
The actor is currently playing Showtime’s upcoming comedy series s “Black Monday.”
He is the father of actress Laura Dern.
