UPDATE (WKOW) – Madison Diocese announced on Facebook Saturday night Bishop Robert Morlino died at 9:15 that night at St Mary’s Hospital. Morlino was 71.
The post sent another post on Saturday night asking for prayer after the bishop after suffering what they called a “heart failure” the day before Thanksgiving. A spokesman from the foundation said they asked for a miracle.

MADISON (19659002) WKOW) – The foundation in Madison prays for prayer after bishop Robert Morlino led a “heart contest” the day before Thanksgiving. A spokesman for the foundation says that they are asking for a miracle after things have turned out for the worst.
In a post on Bishop Morlino’s Facebook page, spokeswoman Brent King wrote: “I would like to pray that in addition to praying for a miracle, you also pray that if and when the time comes the bishop would receive grace of a happy death and can soon look on the face of our God, the vision that will not disappoint. “
Morlino underwent planned medical tests and was hit by a” heart failure “on Wednesday, according to a post on the Madisons Facebook- page on friday.
The statement noted that Morlino was in the right place at the right time, with medical professionals at his side.
On Saturday, a statement about Bishop Morlino’s Facebook page called for “yesterday morning to hold a number of good reasons for the bishop’s jump .” It continued to say “ has today been filled with a number of disappointments in that regard. Unfortunately, things have continued to turn to the worst and it is likely that our hope lies in a miracle at this time.”
