Blue Moon Brewing capitalizes on Bezos news with a lunar lander keg – TechCrunch

Generally, such things are not recommended and can be quite easily restored, but the MillerCoors-owned Blue Moon Brewery would have been stupid not to have capitalized on yesterday's big announcement by Jeff Bezos Blue Origin. The company fired a silly tweet yesterday and doubled with the announcement of a limited edition keg "inspired" by the recently announced Blue Moon Moon Lander. It will be released in July, to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. As for how it will look – the above is clearly just a mock-up. One assumes Bezos and co. will have to play together if it will look like the Blue Origins model, with a couple of cranes at the top. Pricing, availability and all good things will arrive closer to the July 20 launch. In the meantime, the real thing is not to arrive until 2024, which coincides with Vice President Mike Pence's stated goal of an American return to the lunar surface.
