The telephone of the image on these lines is, effectively, the new BlackBerry Key2 that the Canadian firm plans to present next Thursday, June 7. And is that Evan Blass -who if not- has had access to what appear to be the official press renders of the new terminal of the brand, which like the phone that precedes it stands out for the large physical keyboard that occupies the lower half from her body.
It is not the first time that the Key2 lets us see its design. Only a few days ago,of the terminal in a short official video. Nevertheless, the photographs today shared by evleaks clear any doubt about the design of this mid-premium smartphone.
Seeing the images, the similarities with the first generation of this series are more than evident. BlackBerry repeats with aluminum and rubber as building materials, although in this second generation the lines have been somewhat modernized. On the other hand, now the screen occupies a larger area than in the case of KeyONE and its 4.5 inches , which in turn supposes a remarkable reduction in the size of the physical QWERTY keyboard.
The back, as we saw in the first teaser, is headed by the dual photographic system , one of the most striking changes with respect to KeyONE. At the moment, yes, the details about the camera system of the Key2 remain secret.
Beyond the data we can extract from the photograph, we know that the new BlackBerry terminal that will be released next Thursday will have a chip from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series inside, presumably the Snapdragon 636 . Next to it, we expect to see 4 GB of base RAM and a minimum storage of 64 GB. For the rest of the details, we will have to pay attention to the presentation on day 7.
