Black Ops 4th of December 19 update features v1.10 patch for pc player and blackout armor tuning – patch notes

After the v1.10 patch was released for Black Ops 4 on December 18th, the latest update contains a few more changes for the fans to dig in. The V1.10 patch was released for PS4 and Xbox One player on the December 18th and caused some major changes in each game mode. The update on December 19, but not as great as the previous one, still contains some meaningful changes. The biggest change to the note in this patch is Armour Tuning for Blackout, which has been a highly sought after feature since the new Armor Repair system was introduced with the v1.09 update. Special durability of armor has been majorly tweaked, with level 2 and level 3 armor, their durability is reduced to match it to level 1 armor. In particular, with the new armor repair system, the number of armored braces that a player can wear is reduced from 10 to 5, making it less likely that people will be walking in the late game. Further, the time required for using the Armor Plates has been increased and the damage from Paladin Sniper has also increased. It was not that for Blackout updates, but as of December 19, the update took the weapon camera to the game's royal mode to match the other two game modes. In addition, the update on 19 December has released the v1.10 update to PC players, which means it now lives on all platforms. You can read the complete corrections below: Dec. 19 Update:…

Dec. 19 Update: PC 1.10 Title Update, Armor Tuning and Weapon Camos in Blackout + more

Today’s update delivers our PC 1.10 Title Update for Black Ops 4, as well as two highly anticipated things in Blackout: Armor Durability / Repair tuning and Wap Camo support! See below for all details:

Thank you to everyone for the feedback on our Armor Redesign and Armor Repair System that we rolled out last week in Blackout. Now that we all have had some time with the new system, we make some mood updates that directly affect the durability of the armor and how the players use Armor Plates. With these changes, we have better balanced the long-term efficiency of Level 2 and Level 3 Armor, and reduced how often Armor can be repaired.

These updates include:

  • Level 2 and Level 3 Armor durability has been reduced to match Level 1 Armor durability.
  • Reduced maximum amount of Armor plates that can be stacked from 10 Armor Plates to 5.
  • Increased time required to use an Armor Plate from 2 seconds to 3.
  • Slightly increased Paladin’s damage to armor to reduce the number of shots as needed to take down the enemies that wear Level 3 Armor.

Dev team notes: While we’re excited to see Armor lasting more than one shield of this redesign, we agreed that Level 2 and Level 3 Armor were a little for Sustainable . With the durability called back on these, players should be able to destroy their enemies Armor more often.

We have reduced how often Armor can be repaired by increasing the time required to repair Armor, which is most noticeable in active gunfights. In a game where an extra second can make all the difference, this change gives aggressors more opportunities to close the distance of enemies, as they repair their armor slower than before.

As we mentioned last week when we first rolled out the first Armor redesign, we continue to collect data and monitor your feedback when evaluating Armour’s performance in Blackout. Keep it coming!

With today’s update, Weapon Camos earned in Multiplayer, Zombies, and Black Market can now be applied to Blackout weapons including Reactive Camos and Mastercrafts!

To equip your Camos weapons, visit the new Armory menu in Blackout before a match. Once equipped, players will see their chosen cameras on their corresponding weapons when they are fetched in the game. Reactive Camos will have their own Blackout-specific requirements to “remove” and progress in the camoon. And yes, Camo support is also applied to Blackout Custom Games. Enjoy!

Note! There is a known problem with Reactive Camos on some weapons that appear to be “wrapped” in Armory and on the ground even after they have been unopened. These weapons show their Reactive Camos as expected when you download them in the game, and a solution for this cosmetic issue will be coming soon.

Our PC 1.10 Title Update is alive today, delivering updates from yesterday’s 1.10 patches and additional PC-specific changes listed below. Blackout Armor Tuning and Weapon Camo updates are scheduled for the next PC update, scheduled for tomorrow. As we mentioned in our December 13 update, we usually target a PC patch release window within 24 hours after the corresponding console version to ensure that each update is carefully set and tested before it is released.

And if you missed it last yesterday … as a special “thank you” to our players, completely unlocked Reactive Camos can now be applied to any weapon you have unlocked Gold Camo for Multiplayer! We have also made it clearer in the menu of the game with today’s update.
