“Big Mouth” has been renewed for a third season on Netflix, announced the streamers on Saturday.
The animated comedy series, which comes from real best friends Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg tells stories of the wonderful nightmare that is teenage puberty. Season 2 debuted on October 5th.
Comedian John Mulaney makes his voice to Andrew, while Kroll voices several characters including Nick. Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, Jenny Slate and Jessi Klein also give voice to the series. Kroll, Goldberg and scriptwriter Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett collaborate and produce the series, which is a Netflix production.
The creative team behind has previously said that they reduced their own teens for difficult and fun moments to do the show.
“When we interviewed a writer for the show, we would always say:” Tell us how it was when you had your first period or how it was when you got caught masturbating, “says Levin during a PaleyFest panel for the show last year . “It was the litmus test because they must be able to open freely. We made the room a really safe place where everyone could talk about it. “
