Bears can still earn first round playoff bye

Klinching of the NFC Northern Ireland Sunday with a 24-17 victory over Packer's Insured Bears to host his first playoff game. But there is still a lot to decide during the last two weeks of the regular season. Bears (10-4) are now the No. 3 seed behind the Saints (12-2) and Rams (11-3) and before the Cowboys (8-6) . The two joker teams are currently Seahawks (8-6) and Vikings (7-6-1). The two main seeds serve first round bees, while the third seed is worth the sixth seed and the fourth seed is worth the fifth seed. If the season ended today, the Saints and the frames would be bitten, while the bear would host the Vikings, and the cowboys would host Seahawks. Bears can still earn a first round hello. In fact, they can still be completed as No. 1 , 2, 3 or 4 seed in the NFC Final. In order to capture the Saints, the bears must win their last two matches in San Francisco and in Detroit, while New Orleans would have to lose their last two races home against Steelers and Panthers.

, 2, 3 or 4 seed in the NFC Final.

In order to capture the Saints, the bears must win their last two matches in San Francisco and in Detroit, while New Orleans would have to lose their last two races home against Steelers and Panthers. In that scenario, the bears and Saints would both finish 12-4, but the bear would win tiebreaker based on a better conference record.

To capture the Frames, the bears must win a game over Los Angeles over the past two weeks. So if the bears went 2-0 the frames would have to lose a game. If the bears went 1-1, the frames would have to go 0-2. Los Angeles will visit Cardinals and then host 49ers. Bears would win tiebreaker based on their last 15-6 win over Rams on Soldier Field.

Bears has a two-game lead over Cowboys for No. 3 seed. The only way Dallas can replace Bears at that place is if the cowboys hit Buccaneers home and the giants on the way and the bears lose both their remaining games. In that scenario, Dallas would win tiebreaker based on a better conference record.

Since the NFL directed to eight four team divisions in 2002, the bears have won NFC North and had a first round every three times they made the playoffs. They were number 2 in 2005 when they lost to the pants in the division round and again in 2010 when they fell to Packers in the NFC title game. They were the No. 1 seed in 2006 when they won the NFC championship and advanced to the Super Bowl XLI.

Do not count the Super Bowl, Bears has played their last six playoffs on Soldier Field, compiling a 3-3 record. They lost to the eagles in 2001, lost to the 2005 Panther, hit Seahawks and Saints in 2006 and hit the Seahawks before losing to Packers 2010.
