A cure for age-related hair loss may be in motion, researchers have claimed on the back of a new medical breakthrough.

Researchers believe that they have discovered how to go back to the process to gradually get in the shell by successfully regaining hair on damaged skin.

The study investigated damaged skin in laboratory mice, focusing on cells called fibroblasts secreting collagen.

Collagen is a protein that is most responsible for maintaining the shape and strength of skin and hair.

Researchers also focused on fibroblasts that depend on the cells that are known to help control some of the biological processes involved in healing.

The team, led by Dr. Mayumi Ito, activated sonic igelkottsignal path, which is used by cells to communicate with each other.

Dr Ito said, “Now we know that it is a signaling issue in cells that are very active when we develop in the uterus, but less so in mature skin cells as we age.”
