Ubisoft has released a new patch for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The 1.0.5 patch weighs at 0.16 GB on PS4 and 0.1 GB on Xbox One, focusing on squashing bugs – including fixing a question that only occurred after a previous patch.
According to the patch notes, stability improves and fixes a problem that would make the game crash to the dashboard after released update v1.0.3. That update aimed at improving quality of life and fixing game breaks. The two updates were just a few days apart, but Ubisoft looks at these issues quickly.
This week, Ubisoft canceled its first scheduled live event and declared that a missing mercenary had gone AWOL. The studio still has great plans for live content and expansions, but promises the “biggest and most ambitious” post launch support in franchise history. It will contain a story, The Lost Tales of Greece, free to all players, along with paid episode installments Legacy of the First Blade and Atlantis’s fate. The studio has already said that it is not planning to release another Assassin’s Creed next year, instead leaning on its plans after launch.
