Xenia Sobchak was employed by Samsung to promote their smartphones in Russia. The TV presenter, journalist and policy were procured to use the smartphones in public. Under the terms of similar agreements between companies and influential people, they are not normally seen with competing products in general, a rule that Sobchak broke.
Reality TV show host and politician Xenia Sobchak is Samsung’s face in Russia, and is required by contract to use a Samsung smartphone.
But while she appeared in an interview, she was discovered with an iPhone X. She really made an attempt to hide it, but failed to do it. The actor was seen using a piece of paper to try to hide the phone from sight, but many people soon noticed promoting a comprehensive discussion of social media.
It is further noted that this is not the first time the actor used the iPhone, she has been discovered on several social occasions with the Apple phone.
The many observations have led Samsung to sue Sobchak for breach of contract. It is unknown how much Sobchak was initially paid by Samsung, but it is likely that the judgment stated that the damage is significantly higher in value, including penalties for breaking the agreement.
