As we already told you in Andro4all, Applause is the largest Application Marketing and Mobile Growth Conference in Spain . With two years of experience, the third edition of Applause has been a success, and its More than 250 attendees confirm this . The conference, which took place on June 1 at the W Barcelona hotel, brought together developers, companies and guest speakers, who were able to share, learn and expand their network of contacts to promote the economic growth of the app marketing industry in our country.
In 2016, the business of mobile apps generated 1.3 trillion dollars in revenue and created 1.6 million jobs in the European Union to date, a figure very similar to that of the United States.
The kick-off day Luca Giaocomel, Data Scientist at Bending Spoons with the conference “You Suck at ASO” , in which he addressed the different techniques, tricks and tips that should be followed when positioning an app on top of Google Play and the App Store. He was followed by Moritz Daan, co-Founder of Pithure ; Guy Uziely, Spanish Market Leads in AppsFlyer and Rubén Álvarez, Mobile Advertising Manager at Tuenti , which offered an interesting presentation on how to achieve greater acquisition and retention of users through data analysis. After her, a round table in which several experts discussed the ASO and the current situation of application marketing.
The next round of conferences was led by Moshe Vaknin, CEO of YouAppi ; Ekaterina Petrakova, Mobile Marketing Manager of Rocket Internet , and Tim Norris, General Manager EMEA of mParticle . Then it was the turn of Peter Fodor, CEO and Founder of AppAgent , together with Antti Paikkala, User Acquisition Manager in Small Giant Games , who explained how to create a media plan for a mobile game. After a short break, continued Katerina Zolotareva, Customer Success Manager and Daniel Peris, Founder and CEO of TheTool with the workshop “ASO from scratch and PRO tactics” . The workshop block was closed by Carole Wi-Hai, Head of Analytics at Tenjin , with a session on monetization of game apps titled “Ad Monetization for Games – A Data Scientist’s Playbook” .
