Android Developer Preview 2 is here to stay , bringing with it great innovations that improve the user experience . While we’ve already talked about all of them, we did not have the opportunity to check whether what Google promised was true or not.
After a couple of days testing the Developer Preview 2 in three different Pixel terminals, we can tell you about our experience with the battery , which has been extremely satisfactory, and proof that Google is on the right track.
More than 6h 20 minutes of screen with almost 30% remaining battery in the Pixel 2 XL , and almost 6h cycles in Google Pixel 2. Android Developer Preview 2 incorporates a mode ofwhat improves autonomy by much , both at rest and in use. Above all, we have noticed that the mobile rests rather better, the graph reaches the flat line with extreme ease, and is that the control of the wakelocks is now much greater. To give you an idea, we have won almost 1h screen , which is quite a high figure.
It is striking that a beta version manages to offer us such good consumption, taking into account that the final version will be more refined, and therefore should be even more benevolent with energy consumption. Android P is the best version we have been able to test to date , and really is an important jump from Oreo, version that we already liked.
Finally, Android reaches the level of refinement, optimization and functions that we asked, in addition to open even more to the firms with projects such as Treble. We hope that the final version is as good as the two Developer Previews that we have already tested , and that is that Google has hit the key, creating
