You’ve probably seen many impressive rocket launches, but you’ve never seen one like this, which shows how a rocket launch looks out of space.
The launch of the spacecraft channel Russian Progress MS-10 (a Russian Soyuz rocket) took place on November 16th. The tide cap was captured by ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst, who is on board the International Space Station (ISS), from almost 250 miles up.
The whole video is amazing, but the most extraordinary moments are just a few seconds into the launch and then the burning of the rocket’s nuclear stage at replay about 35 seconds.
! Although this may seem so impressive it’s like something from a movie, it’s very very and very very spectacular.
