Allegiant, a low-fair airline, will start non-stop flights from Syracuse to Sarasota, Fla. Starting in April 2019, officials have announced.
The flights will travel from Syracuse to Hancock International Airport to Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport starting April 19th. The new year-round flights will operate twice weekly.
The Sarasota-Bradenton airport is 13 miles from Sarasota on Florida’s southwestern coast.
Introductory one-way fares will start at $ 65.
“Allegiant continues to be a tremendous partner to the airport and the Central New York community,” said Christine Callahan, executive director of the airline. Syracuse Hancock International Airport. “The addition of new non-stop service to Sarasota / Bradenton, Florida, will provide our customers with a new, low-cost option to the beautiful Florida beaches.”

Allegiant also offers service from Syracuse to Sanford, St. Petersburg-Clearwater and Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Myrtle Beach, SC; and Nashville, Tenn.
